Classroom Expectations

Classroom Rules:
- Raise your hand before talking out.
- Stay in your seat, ask to get up.
- Stay focused on your OWN work.
- Use only kind words.
- Treat others the way you want to be treated.
AND remember....That no one has the right to interfere in the learning and safety of others!!!
Keep reinforcing the classroom rules.
Homework Policy:
*There will be homework every Monday through Thursday unless noted by the teacher.
*Every night students need:
- read fluency reader
- practice writing, reading and spelling spelling words
- practice reading sight words
- practice basic math skills
*On Monday: readers, spelling words, sight words and math sheet will be sent for the whole week. Please initial each night as your child completes each task.
*Other homework may include any work not completed in class or extra skill practice.
*Homework needs to be turned in every morning. I also check for initials on reading, spelling and sight words.
*If homework is not done, students will lose thier lunch recess to either complete or redo.
